Troubleshooting

1. Why is my video blurry ?
By going to the top toolbar and selecting Image-Deinterlace you may be able to make dramatic improvements in the quality of your video.

2. Why are some of the features missing from the drop down menu ?

Your video clip is too long to change the image qualities over the entire length of the video. Changing image qualities such as color, brightness, contrast, etc. requires that the software not be over 12 seconds in duration. Depending on your video, you may be successful in adjusting videos over the 12 seconds if you change the default Preference setttings.

3. I have a Windows XP computer, why does Pro Viewer not work right ?
XP computers need to have .netframework 2.0 or higher installed to operate Pro Viewer.  If you are having problems and did not install .net during installation, please see number 5 below.

4. Why can't Pro Viewer play my video ?

Pro Viewer plays the following: AVI, MPG, MOV, WMV, MP4, MKV...,MOD (jvc camcorders), VOB (from DVDs), 3GP (from mobile phones). Note: Pro Viewer can not play directly from professionally produced CD or DVDs. Disks are designated to prevent this due to copyright laws.

6. My trial version has expired. How do I purchase Pro Viewer ?
Purchase one copy or take advantage of industry first pricing: Click here to go to http://www.eagleeyedv.com/Motion_Analysis_Software_s/537.htm

7. Why the speed of my video decrease on its own ?
This happens when Pro Viewer detects it cannot extract images from the video fast enough to keep up the frame rate asked. The speed stabilizes itself at a sustainable threshold. However it is advised to decrease it manually again to get a smoother playback.

8. How can I save my analysis work ?
Use menu File > Save Video or Key Images Data, then Save only the key images data.  The resulting file has an extension of .kva and is in XML format.

9. How can I share my analysis work with another user ?
You can save the analysis (see previous question) and give the .kva file along with the video. Alternatively you can save the data inside a new video of format MKV. To do this use the option Save video and key images data in a single file of the saving dialog. Analysis data will stay editable by your correspondent.
